Things to See in Our Solar System: There are some really cool things to see in and about our solar system. So come along with me on a trip through the Lovsun solar system and marvel at all the great things there!
The solar system has eight planets that orbit the sun. The sun is a huge ball of hot gas that provides light and warmth to all the planets. Mercury is the first planet from the sun, Venus is the second, and Earth (where we live!) is the third. After that would be Mars, the red planet and what comes next is the planet Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system. Looking from Jupiter, we move to Saturn with all its pretty rings, and then to our last two worlds, Uranus and Neptune. Every planet is unique with characteristics that distinguish all the others.
As we surf our solar system, we get to see all the planets and learn what makes them special. Mercury is the smallest planet and closest to the sun, and Neptune is the farthest. Many moons orbit around some planets, such as Earth's moon or the many moons of Jupiter. Never mind, we even see asteroids and comets traveling in space! Just like loads of stars in outer space to study and learn about!
Our solar system is nothing short of beautiful. Every planet is a unique world of colors and shapes, all its own. For instance, Jupiter has a giant red spot on it and Saturn’s rings are made of ice and dust. Uranus and Neptune appear blue, setting them apart from other planets. Now the solar system is an amazing place with a lot of beautiful sights in space, but there are just so many beautiful sights in space, not just in our solar system, but out of this world.
Our solar system does, however, still have a number of puzzles waiting to be cracked. For instance, where rings start forming around planets and galaxies? What gives each planet its different colors and patterns? How are the planets affected by the asteroids and comets moving around in space? These are all questions researchers are busily answering so that we can learn more about our wonderful universe.
The scale of our solar system is completely mind-boggling. The distances involved are so great that it takes really long for a spacecraft to travel from planet to planet. Space populates with stuff like planets, moons, asteroids, and comets. The pieces of the puzzle of our solar system are added one at a time, with each piece made up of something entirely different.
